Open Studio Art Nites

Open Studio Art Nites

Open Studio Art Nites

Do you miss practicing with other artists in a warm, welcoming studio environment? Sometimes it takes a village to find encouragement, support, or inspiration! Social learning is also an effective way to develop or hone your skills! Through the exchange of new ideas, sharing tips, ongoing social interactions, enduring relationships, or meaningful connections, it's the glue that makes the knowledge stick.

Facial Features: Drawing the Eyes

Facial Features: Drawing the Eyes

Facial Features: Drawing the Eyes

Discover a simplified approach with expert guidelines to the complex task of drawing human anatomy. Ideal for anyone interested in portraits or figure drawing! Eyes are known as the 'windows to the human soul' and can be one of the most challenging features to master. In portraiture, eyes give emotion and bring a sense of three-dimensionality to the face. We will study and practice drawing the human eye from a detailed plaster cast and then from a live model. All drawing mediums are welcome!
